adjective

positive evaluative adjective (bon)

comparative: better, best
adv: well

NB: In English right/wrong is used to describe celle/celui qui (ne) convient (pas), i.e. la bonne page (the right page), "la bonne porte" (the right door), ...

Also, un bon mot is a joke or maybe a witticism, not "a good word".

put a good word in for someone = say something nice about someone

plural noun

  • Goods are merchandise. Goods are not services.
