That is a demonstrative determiner, it allows you to explain which N you are talking about: that car, that broken cup, that one.

Subordinating conjunction / complementizer
Introduces a complementary clause. It is very similar to the French word que in function if not in form. One notable exception is in comparisons where English uses than and as.
